Glass Tube Air Dryer
Our glass tube air dryer is a device used to remove moisture from compressed air or gas streams. It typically consists of a transparent glass tube filled with a desiccant material, such as silica gel or activated alumina, and is connected to inlet and outlet ports for airflow. As moist air flows through the glass tube, the desiccant material adsorbs the water vapor, resulting in dry air exiting from the outlet. These dryers are commonly utilized in laboratory and industrial settings where the presence of moisture in compressed air can lead to corrosion, contamination, and adverse effects on equipment and processes. The transparent design of the glass tube allows for visual inspection of the desiccant material, making it easy to determine when the material needs replacement or regeneration.
