Safety Containment Cabinet
Labotronics safety containment cabinets, also known as biological safety cabinets or BSCs, are specialized laboratory enclosures designed to provide a controlled environment for working with hazardous materials such as pathogens or chemicals. They are equipped with HEPA filters to maintain a sterile and particle-free atmosphere, protecting both the operator and the surrounding environment. These cabinets use a combination of airflow patterns to ensure that contaminants are contained, and they often have a glass or acrylic window for observation and manipulation of samples. Our safety containment cabinets come in different classes (Class I, II, and III) based on the level of protection they offer, with Class III cabinets providing the highest level of containment. They are essential in microbiology, pharmaceutical research, and healthcare settings, allowing safe handling of dangerous agents, protecting researchers, and preventing the release of hazardous substances into the laboratory or clinical setting, thus safeguarding both the personnel and the public.
